Job Description

One of the largest and certainly the most prestigious NHS Foundation Trusts in London is looking to recruit. This Trust is based across two central London sites; both being easily accessible to main line commuter links. It is a centre of excellence, being a University teaching Hospital they employ some of the leading specialists in healthcare, teaching and research across the globe.

This key client is looking to appoint a Medical Secretary.

You will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of medical terminology, ideally in T&O although applications from a general background or other specialty will be considered. You will have a demonstrable typing speed, excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, be approachable and professional.

Your day to day duties will include, but not exhaustively, the following:

• Answering Telephones calls
• Act as first point of contact
• Audio Typing letters, dictations etc
• Diary Management
• Arranging meetings
• General administrative duties

You will ideally have a working knowledge of PIMS, EPR and LetterMaker.

This role is for the timescales above, although there might be the possibility of an extension.
