I have pleasure in providing a testimonial for Lifeline who have demonstrated a commitment in supporting work placement opportunities and in assisting local people back into employment.

Our key focus is to provide work placement opportunities for schools, colleges and unemployed people within the local communities of Southwark and Lambeth. This will support the work being undertaken to provide access to employment opportunities within the Trust with a specific aim of increasing the number of staff from the diverse communities it serves.

Work placements are two-weeks in length and are geared towards providing hands-on administrative work experience within a hospital setting. Candidates work alongside existing Trust staff members who act as mentors to the candidates. We work in partnership with Trust Managers to identify posts within the Trust which will support individuals on pre employment work placements, thereby providing a gateway to attracting applicants into substantive roles within the Trust through the recruitment process.

Candidates are assisted in securing paid employment after successful completion of their placement and we have worked closely with our partner, Lifeline, in this regard.

Lifeline Personnel have successfully assisted a number of candidates into paid employment within the Trust after undertaking voluntary placements and are given on-going support. The work performed by Lifeline in this regard has been instrumental in assisting local people back into employment and their commitment, understanding and working ethos is a great credit to them. Lifeline is a company which is genuinely committed to going that extra mile and from our experience within the Back to Work Scheme, it is without hesitation that I recommend them.
